An argument between the owner of a cow and another man mushroomed from a simple dispute over where to tie the cow into a amor fight where a man sustained a broken leg, and another is facing charges of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The accused, Sylvester Powell, appeared in the Spanish Town RM Court earlier this week to face the charges.

Allegations are that on June 19, 2015 Powell went to move his cow and an argument developed with the complainant Bert Wilson. It was further said that it escalated in a fight and Bert was pushed in a steel ditch and suffered a broken leg.

"Is him first attack me and I walk him off and him follow me and we start to fight," Powell explained.

He was then offered bail in the sum of $80,000 with 1 or 2 sureties and is to return to court on October 6, 2015. A subpoena was then ordered for the investigating officer to complete the file.
