An accused man who appeared recently in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrates' court on illegal possession of firearm and robbery with aggravation received a tongue lashing from RM Ann Marie Nembhard for constantly getting in trouble with the law.

"Yes, your honour I have been before you a lot of times but those were simple matters," Ricardo Davidson answered in his defence.

"Yes sir, I see you have graduated from simple matters like assault occasioning bodily harm to hard crimes," RM Nembhard shot back.

Davidson's case was then transferred to Gun Court in Kingston.
