Ryno shoots ‘Side Chick’ video @one876 @bounce876

“The video looks clean, it was a great vibe on the shoot and that comes out in the actual video, so I know dancehall fans are going to like it. We’re going to release it the first week of October,” he said.

Ryno recently inked a distribution, booking and recording deal with JA Productions which will see him releasing his first album within the next couple of months.

“We are looking at 14-track album which will be released later this year on iTunes. We have completed about 9 tracks so far, this album cuts across a lot of genres, I am excited about where my career is going musically,” he said.

A former member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire, he has emerged as one of the most exciting acts in local dancehall since his clash victory over Kiprich at Sting 2013.

“Justus has always believed in Ryno’s talents as an artiste and I feel that this is the best business decision for me to move forward with my career. I am more mature and grounded now, and I really want to entertain the fans, that’s what my job is, and mi a step up my game,” Ryno said,

The ‘Side Chick’ single could be the first major success of this new partnership as the song has been getting mainstream airplay on major radio stations such as IRIE, HITZ and RJR with his latest effort, ‘Side Chick’. Dancehall fans love the pop-dancehall hook on this song where Ryno samples Sean Kingston’s ‘Make Up Your Mind’ as he expresses his love for his girl on the side.

“The feedback has been incredible on social media with the fans leaving comments on youtube and Twitter, so when the video premieres, it is going to be incredible,” he said.

Earlier this year, the deejay scored a radio hit with ‘BMX Bicycle’, a catchy singalong dancehall banger with a killer hook. The single became a big favourite in Kingston’s street dances and on mixtapes all over the country, and it has racked up over several thousand hits on youtube.
